The council is Canada’s national forum for bringing together the country’s most forward-thinking chief information officers and executive technology leaders to collectively mobilize on common digital priorities.
The council is laser focused on developing the next generation of technology standards to keep Canada globally competitive in an emerging information-based economy.
“Canada is locked in a global race for prosperity to innovate faster, generate new ideas quicker, and ultimately birth a new economy,” says Keith Jansa, Executive Director of the CIO Strategy Council. “We are thrilled that Fundmetric is joining the council to collaborate with other leading organizations on vital issues around data and digital technologies that impact all Canadians.”
Canada must shift from the industrial age economic model to new, more nimble digital and IP prosperity production. With the investments made in artificial intelligence, Canada continues to be relevant. But we must leverage our resources to regulate for innovation and protection of citizens.

Creating a digital rights framework is essential to ensuring Canada is an international digital leader and will contribute enormously to our national prosperity.”
